The landscape is comprised of towering rock formations, massive boulders, waterfalls, and one of the only swinging bridges in the state – all of which can be easily explored thanks to miles of hiking trails. One that definitely belongs on every resident’s bucket list is the hike to Red Bluff in Foxworth. Known as the “Little Grand Canyon,” Red Bluff is a massive canyon that stands 400 feet above sea level. One look at it and it is clear where its name came from – the canyon is comprised of red clay. It was formed by the natural erosion of the nearby Pearl River, which means that unlike its more famous counterpart, the Grand Canyon, Red Bluff will continue to get larger.
