In 2005, a new restaurant opened in an old building in Muscatine, Iowa: Port City Underground Pizzeria. The building itself, located at 208 West Second Street in downtown Muscatine, is a historic relic built in the year 1900.

But you do have to be able to find the restaurant in order to try it, and here’s where the hidden staircase comes in. Since the restaurant is underground, you’ll need to watch for the staircase down to Port City Underground’s entrance.
