Established in the 1860s, this park is more than 150 years old. It welcomes numerous visitors year-round, especially during the fall season.

A variety of activities take place at the grist mill, including tours. By taking one of these tours, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all about the mill’s history. You’ll also get to view lots of machinery.

In addition to its grist mill, another popular feature at Kymulga Grist Mill Park is the Kymulga Covered Bridge, which spans the Talladega Creek. This covered bridge’s construction was completed around 1861, and it’s one of the only two 19th-century covered bridges still standing in their original Alabama location.

Measuring 105 feet long, the Kymulga Covered Bridge is perfect for strolling across on fall afternoons. Its surrounding foliage is quite beautiful this time of year.
