The original owner, Frederick “Allie” Briggs, passed the shop on to his daughter, Anne, and this much-beloved family-owned business has continued to be a local favorite. People come from all over the state to stand in line for a taste of Allie’s Donuts. In fact, it’s a rare day that there isn’t a line wrapped around the building, no matter the weather.
