If there’s anything that most of us can agree on, it’s this: chocolate is one of the most amazing things there is. Seriously, no matter how you like it: milk, dark, with nuts, with crispy crunchy rice, with mint – it’s something amazing for sure. Well, Hoosier chocolate lovers have a major reason to celebrate this year, as the first-ever Hoosier Chocolate Festival is coming to Carmel in February. This chocolate festival in Indiana is likely to become a tradition in future years, and it’s the perfect time to jump in – be one of the first to someday say you attended this festival way back when it all began. So, as we get into this: try really, really hard not to lick your screen.
Taking place on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at the Bridgewater Country Club is a feast for the sweet tooth (and the other senses).
The Bridgewater Club/Facebook It’s the first annual Hoosier Chocolate Fest, and oh boy, is it something. Coming at the time of year when folks appreciate chocolate the most, it comes as a welcome respite from chilly winter air and snowy oblivion.
It’s a heaven for lovers of chocolate of all sorts.
LongitudeLatitude/Flickr Are you a fan of truffles? They’ll be there. In love with brownies, cakes, and baked confections of the chocolate assortment? Check. Adore chocolate milkshakes, mousse, and more? Yep. You guessed it: there will be plenty.
Whether you like milk chocolate or dark chocolate better (or maybe something in between), there’s plenty to love here.
carobe/Flickr Plenty to take home, too, and we’re pretty sure it’ll be physically impossible to resist doing.
Just grab a little of everything, it’s fine.
Josh/Flickr We’re not here to judge. Honestly, we’re with you.
The Early Afternoon Experience begins at noon and runs until 2:30 p.m.
The Bees/Flickr The Late Afternoon Experience begins at 3 p.m. and goes until 5:30 p.m., and the Evening Experience is from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
In addition to the chocolate, there will also be live music, vendors, and even classes on things like how to make the perfect cocoa cocktail.

There are three packages available from ticketing: the Hoosier Darling, Hoosier Sweetie, and the ultimate Hoosier Valentine.
lesleyk/Flickr They are $45 per person, $65 per person, and $85 per person, respectively. Trust us when we say the perks you get with each are well worth it.
