Ghouls and goblins of all ages are sure to have a blast at Reid Park Zoo’s annual “Boo at the Zoo,” a family-friendly Halloween event taking place this upcoming weekend.

Reid Park Zoo Visitors will enjoy four evenings of festive fun, with all sorts of themed activities to get you in the spooky spirit.

Both fun and educational, the event features iconic characters from popular storybooks and movies, plus several themed areas like Harry Potterville and Pirate’s Cove.

Reid Park Zoo Hands-on activities, including weaving spiderwebs and pollinating flowers, teach children all about the world around them and the animals that inhabit it.

Stop off at the Rancho Sahuarita Fall Festival Zone for music, a hay maze, pumpkin patch, games, and tons more festivities.

Make sure to wear your best Halloween costume, as there will be plenty of trick-or-treating opportunities for the kids.

Reid Park Zoo Even better, the zoo only offers candy produced or sourced using sustainable palm oil practices, so you can feel good about all the treats your little monsters gobble up over the course of the night.

Please note: Since “Boo at the Zoo” takes place in the evening, many of the animals will have retreated into their sanctuaries for the night.

General admission tickets cost $11 per person and members get in for $9. Children under two can attend the event at no charge.
