One of our favorite things about Maine is the availability of local goods and produce. Maine residents love sharing with the community, and that’s just one of the reasons we’re lucky to call the state home. This can be seen in the many farmers markets that exist across the state. The only problem is that they become fewer and harder to come by when the weather gets chilly. One of the few exceptions is this roadside stand in Bangor that not only operates year-round but also offers foods and goods from all over the world.
Located just off of Buck Street in Bangor you’ll find Ingrid’s Gift Shop. And just next to that is the Sunnyside Greenhouse. That’s where things come alive every Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at Bangor’s European Market!
