The Airdream Social Club travels around the country creating parties for some of the biggest names and corporations in the country. This holiday season, they are in the Plaza District in Oklahoma City with “Cousin Eddie’s – A Holiday Experience,” and it’s the best thing ever if you’re a Christmas Vacation fan. As Cousin Eddie likes to say, “How ’bout havin’ a good ‘old fashun Griswold family Christmas at my place this year?”

The Airdream Social Club is the brainchild of Abbi Rinderknecht and Hillary Self, two female party planners who are well-known in high society for their outrageously awesome parties.

This holiday season, they created “Cousin Eddie’s - A Holiday Experience” in the middle of the Plaza District at 1616 North Blackwelder Avenue in Oklahoma City. They are open for the season until December 23 on select dates. (Click the link at the bottom of the article for exact dates and times.)

The event is free to attend and if you love the classic Christmas movie Christmas Vacation as much as I do, you’ll be attending this memorable experience.

Inside the Airstream there is an incredible bar set up, serving themed drinks with names that will make you laugh.

There is also a nice, warm tent to lounge in and the place is family-friendly, so bring the kids along to enjoy Cousin Eddie. Be sure to snap a pic at the photo booth; it’s only $10, and it comes with a digital and a Polaroid version.

You’ll love all of the classic Cousin Eddie scenes and quotes around the Airstream. “I already talked to the RV park owner, and they said it’s cool if we add a smoking area for Ellen.”

The kids will love the good old-fashioned cocoa for $5, and mom and dad can try it spiked with whiskey or tequila for an extra $4. See ya in the Plaza District for a good ol’ fashion Griswold celebration.
