When you walk into the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by an old-school dining room that is often bustling with activity. Though the furnishings look like they come from decades past, the restaurant is clean and bright, and the staff is as friendly as you’ll find anywhere.

…but most opt to smother their hot dog in coney sauce. It’s a homemade blend that includes beef, spices, mustard, and onions. Yum!

Other than hot dogs, Deluxe Coney Island is also known for its gyros. Thin slices of lamb and beef are piled on pita bread and topped with tzatziki sauce, tomato, and onion. If you’re looking for something different, this could be the ticket!
