Dogtown is a little restaurant selling hot dogs in Connecticut with big flavor. They just opened up in late 2017, but their retro feel makes it seem like they’ve been around for decades. There’s a very nostalgic feel to this place, and that’s by design. The business started as a food truck parked all over Connecticut. The owner prides himself on combining classic southern California street food with east coast diner vibes.

Inside, the restaurant is tiny, barely bigger than its food truck predecessor!

Mel Ezzo/Google Maps There are a few tables outside if you’d like to eat there and enjoy the weather. It’s also not far from the beach, so you can also stroll down the shore and take your (hot) dog for a walk. Dogtown You can choose whatever toppings you like for the tots and fries as well, or just get them plain.

You won’t want to miss their milkshakes or ice cream floats.

If you’re not in the mood for a hot dog, they also sell burgers and sandwiches as well.
