If you’ve visited any Minnesota state park, you likely know that they are great places to spend the night. Most have wonderful campgrounds that will make you feel right at home as you pitch your tent and gather around a fire. But fewer people know that there’s actually a beautiful hotel tucked away inside one of Minnesota’s state parks. Head up to Itasca State Park not only for the beautiful views you’ll find at Minnesota’s first state park but also for the comfortable lodging you’ll find at the park’s Douglas Lodge. Check it out:
Itasca State Park is a beautiful park in northern Minnesota. As Minnesota’s first state park, it covers 32,000 acres of forest, lake, river, and field. It is absolutely beautiful.
