Maine is filled with all kinds of haunted lore. Whether it’s an abandoned tunnel or a paranormal inn, there’s no shortage of creepy places to discover. Today’s first destination is a bit less sinister, though. You’ll have a frighteningly good time when you visit some of the friendliest ghosts in Maine at the Goose River Bridge. Then, if you’re up for mingling with more ghosts, you’ll have the chance to encounter them at Quarry Tavern.

When the war ended, he celebrated in Rockport by going door to door, pouring everyone a beer.
He met his unfortunate demise when he offered a drink to two murderous British loyalists who were not happy about their loss.
