The following one has been known around our neighboring state of Pennsylvania for quite some time, and it’s slowly been spreading. You may have heard of some Marylanders eating sauerkraut on Thanksgiving day, but it just may even more beneficial on New Year’s day. Did you know that there are a handful of Marylanders that eat sauerkraut on Thanksgiving? You’ll particularly find this tradition in the central area of the state, and now it’s being eaten on New Year’s day, too.
