If you’re a history buff and love learning about other cultures. make sure to visit the small town of Wilson. Based in the Heartlands of Kansas, Wilson is a charming town rich in Czech culture due to it being a destination where immigrants settled in the 1870s.
Nowadays, about 14 percent of Wilson’s population claims to be of Czech descent. Because of the town’s strong connection to its Czech heritage, Wilson holds its annual After Harvest Czech Festival. And, as you’ll soon read, there are other destinations throughout the town that add to its rich history and culture too.
It’ll take about two hours to reach Wilson if you’re coming from either Topeka or Wichita.
