Chickasaw National Recreation Area is located at the foothills of the Arbuckle Mountains in an area of the state known as Chickasaw Country. It’s the oldest national park area in the state and has been an outdoor haven for nature enthusiasts since the park first opened in 1902.

The area is home to more than 30 springs, and it’s an oasis that continues to draw in thousands of visitors every year.
