While many Idahoans wait until summer to pull out their tents and sleep in the great outdoors, there are several year-round campgrounds in Idaho where you can have the ultimate outdoor experience. Fish Creek Campground is one of these year-round camping destinations. Tucked in the mountains outside of the small town of Grangeville, this year-round campground in Idaho is certainly worth checking out.
Fish Creek Campground is located outside of Grangeville. This area is home to the popular Fish Creek Pavilion, which features multiple grills, tables, and more. This pavilion is a day-use picnic area that can be reserved for up to 75 people.

While the Fish Creek Campground is available year-round, be aware that the roads to it may not be accessible due to snow. You’ll want to be mindful of the weather before heading on your camping adventure.

Fish Creek Campground is not large. There are only 10 campsites that can be used for both tents and RVs.

This is quite a primitive campground. There are five pit toilets scattered around the campground and garbage services are not available — what you pack in, you must also pack out. However, it is tucked into the mountains so you are surrounded by trees and the entire area is gorgeous.

Fish Creek Campground is the place to go to get away and enjoy nature. You can look for wildflowers, walk the path to the Fish Creek Pavilion, or even use the circular bonfire area.
