The Land of Enchantment boasts many such places where you can soak your muscles and truly unwind. One of our favorite hot springs destinations in the entire state can actually be reached via a beautiful hiking trail. McCauley Hot Springs is a natural spring tucked away in the beautiful Santa Fe National Forest. The trail leading to this stunning natural feature is approximately four miles in length, boasting unforgettable views of mountains and rock formations along the way. The trailhead is located at Battleship Rock Day Use Area. The hot springs at the end of the trail can accommodate six people at a time. You’ll find the temperature of the water to be comfortably warm year-round. It’s also magically clear! If you visit, don’t forget to bring your swimming gear.
