You’ll find Wisconsin’s Gravity Hill on an empty and remote hill near Shullsburg. With a population of just 1,200, Shullsburg is one of the smallest towns in the state. It’s also one of the oldest; it was founded by lead miners in the 1820s, long before Wisconsin was even a state.

From its earliest days, there was something a little mystical happening near this town, out on County Highway U. Supposedly, this is a place where the laws of gravity don’t apply.
