New Jersey is a state that’s filled with people, despite its relatively small size. It is a well-populated place — and the thing is, it seems like not all of the people in New Jersey are living.

New Jersey happens to be home to many, many ghost stories. And you don’t just find spirits at old, historic houses. Our libraries are haunted, our movie theaters are haunted, our bars and restaurants are haunted, our museums … and in fact, there is even a haunted playground.

Conant Park seems like your typical park from a distance.

Alon Jara/Google Local Located in Hillside, New Jersey the park, which is about 6,200 acres, features a fun playground, soccer fields, softball fields, basketball courts, a grill, picnic tables, and hiking trails.

Gods Robot/Google Local The victims are too scared to explain what happened to them if the faceless men release them.

Is it real? Who knows. Probably not. But maybe.

stan kosinski/Google Local Either way, people in the park have indeed reported a ghostly presence in the area.

So, would you visit Conant Park when it’s getting dark? We wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t want to!
