We Arkansans know there’s more to the state than Hawksbill Crag or Hemmed-In Hollow Falls. Just because you’ve seen the popular spots does not mean you’ve seen all the beauty Arkansas has to offer. Take a hike with us as we lead you to an unbelievably beautiful spot that’s off the beaten path.

The Ozarks have an endless supply of gorgeous views. Let’s visit one of the more hidden spots.

After you’ve hit Cowell you’ll turn right and reach NC-6560.

Rick’s Hiking Blog After four more miles you’ll reach what’s locally known as Hudson Mountain Road (it’s marked FR-1204B).

After a bit of bushwhacking you’ll reach a trail.

Rick’s Hiking Blog This trail will lead you downstream of what is Campbell Creek.

After less than a mile, you’ll come to the top of the Hudson Shelter.

Rick’s Hiking Blog Hudson Shelter falls is a triple-tiered waterfall.

Besides admiring the falls, you can walk into the shelter for a cool view.

The top waterfall is about a 6-ft falls.

The lower falls is what cascades off of the shelter.
