Since its founding in 2000, the Herbsaint Bar and Restaurant has been noted within the broader ecosystem of the competitive New Orleans dining scene for its signature dishes, some of them with a flare of French-Southern cuisine. Elements of rustic-style Italian cooking also can be found on the menu.
Herbsaint is situated along the Big Easy’s deeply historic St. Charles Avenue. It also serves as the flagship establishment for local restaurateur Donald Link, owner of the Link Restaurant Group.
While a number of the menu items are rooted in French cuisine, restaurant staffers say many of the ingredients are locally sourced.
