Here are some of the best: Mowry Conservation Area Red Trail In Smithfield, Rhode Island, you can find this loop that is just under a mile and is perfect for kids. If you are looking for an easy walk to take without much preparation head on over to the Mowry Conservation Area for a quick escape into the Rhode Island forest on a well marked trail. Rome Point Trail Rome Point Trail is another kid-friendly hike, but this one is a bit longer. Clocking in at almost. 2.5 miles, this flat loop trail will take you out on a sandbar past Bissel Cove, where you will be surrounded by the water as you complete your loop on this tiny peninsula. This hike is guaranteed to be a fun time for everyone. Fort Barton/Sin and Flesh Brook Trail Fort Barton/Sin and Flesh Brook Trail is a flat 2.1-mile loop near Tiverton, Rhode Island that is also perfect for the whole family.
