It’s no secret that driving during the wintertime can be a hassle. Once-simple drives can be made extra strenuous when winter comes along with the arrival of snow and ice. It doesn’t help that Idaho was recently named one of the most dangerous places for winter driving by SafeWise. It can be scary out there, so everybody should always take extreme caution when traversing the roads this winter. However, there’s one highway, in particular, that is known as the most dangerous road not just in Idaho, but the entire country. You may want to reconsider driving on it this winter season and find an alternative route instead.
As the temperatures continue to drop, driving in winter conditions can become riskier and riskier.

The report cited data from the 2016 National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which stated that there were 11 fatalities in which weather was a contributing factor.

Between 2013 and 2016, the U.S. Department of Transportation conducted a study that identified roads across the country with the most number of accidents.
