While we usually focus more on hiking trails in Georgia, we can’t forget about those trails that are world-class for mountain bikers, too. Running alongside the Cartecay River in Georgia is a set of mixed-use trails that offer some of the most beautiful natural views in Ellijay. Clocking in at 3.5-miles for hikers and six miles in length for bikers, come step outdoors for a few hours on the Cartecay River Loop in Georgia.
Note: This trail is part of the Wildlife Management Area, so a fee is required to enter. You can opt to purchase a day pass in advance online before you go here.
