The Eagle River Greenbelt Access Trail is an easy trail with a big payoff. Hike through a gorgeous boreal forest before the river opens up the scenery and grants you plenty of great views of the mountains beyond. Suit up and head on out on this great hike!

Katie Fulmer / AllTrails On the Eagle River Greenbelt Access Trail, you’ll hike all the way down to Eagle River on a pretty well-maintained trail. There are boardwalks to keep you up and above the wettest parts, and gorgeous bridges and a trail that cuts through towering trees.
If there’s a light dusting of fresh snow on the boardwalk it may be a little slippery, so mind your footing as you head out.
