Ever wanted to hold an alligator? Just north of Covington is an incredible alligator farm. Insta-Gator Ranch and Hatchery is home to over 2,000 alligators and invites visitors to tour the farm and its gators, ranging in size from newborns to 8-footers. The facility educates visitors about conservation, the alligator tanning industry, and the positive environmental effects of a healthy alligator presence in Louisiana.

The guided tour provides a comprehensive look at the alligator industry, including an airplane and airboat used to locate and harvest alligator eggs in the wild.
