A large portion of the town’s historic buildings are homes; Victorian-style mansions passed down over generations of local families.

The tour is especially magical at Christmastime, as the homes are decked out in their holiday finest, and participants walk the streets by candlelight.

Built in the 1860s, the Jefferson General Store is another must-see landmark.
