Located in Warren County, Jump Jump State Forest is 4,466 acres of majestic trees, mountains, rock formations, and bodies of water.

The park’s name has an interesting origin. Folklore states that a young girl named Jenny jumped to her death off of Jenny Jump Mountain Range while being chased by a Native American.

Beautiful bodies of water can be spotted throughout the park, but there is more to see than just what’s on the ground. Jenny Jump State Forest is also home to a few observatories where visitors are invited to look at the stars.
