Looking Glass Falls Is Most Easily Accessible Waterfall In North Carolina

Waterfalls in North Carolina are fun to chase, but not everyone can go trekking along miles of canopied trails to get to many of the falls in the Tar Heel State. Fortunately, there are a few waterfalls that are right by the road with unobstructed views from the highway. It was difficult to pick just one to feature, but we think Looking Glass Falls just may be the most accessible waterfall in North Carolina.

Found just outside of Brevard, Looking Glass Falls is six stories high and it wows the eyes and ears as visitors get a look and a listen to its spectacular beauty and sounds.

Looking Glass Falls is a 60-foot drop on Looking Glass Creek right beside Highway 76 just nine miles north of Brevard.
