Some suggest that at times you may also need a gate code from the camp. Once you have permission, it’s a 2.8 mile hike to the waterfall. Print directions and bring them with you, as the trail is marked with some quirky things, like a big rock pile with a bright red line. In addition, one of the trails you will be following has some other trails leading from it. If you don’t have precise directions it could be easy to take the wrong path.
