The American Clock and Watch Museum is a fascinating hidden gem in Bristol. It’s one of very few museums in the country dedicated to horology (the history of timekeeping). They’ve got a massive collection of American-made clocks and watches that’s one of the largest in the world. You don’t have to be fascinated by clocks to enjoy a visit here.

The American Clock and Watch Museum is located in a historic home built in 1801, the Miles Lewis House. The museum was originally known as the Bristol Clock Museum and opened up in 1953.
