The New Orleans Botanical Garden has been bringing pristine, cultivated gardens to the city since the 1930s. Today the garden offers the same quiet oasis to the city as it did on opening day more than 90 years ago.
The ten-acre park provides both beautiful gardens and stunning artworks. The Helis Foundation Enrique Alférez Sculpture Garden is nestled within the larger park, offering unparalleled viewing of the Mexican-American artist, a resident of New Orleans during his lifetime.

The garden contains more than 2,000 varieties of plants from around the world. Among others, visitors can identify aquatics, roses, native plants, ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials.

Admission is $10 per adult, $5 per child over the age of 3 and free for children under 3. Louisiana residents can visit free on Wednesdays.
