Getting into the great outdoors is a real treat in Northeast Ohio. In addition to a diverse landscape with all sorts of unforgettable natural features, our area also boasts the magnificent Cleveland Metroparks. This park system got its start over a century ago, and it has since expanded to encompass more than 23,000 acres of natural and restored beauty. Today, we’re going to take a trip to North Chagrin Reservation in Willoughby. While the area is best known for Squire’s Castle, it also has a secret natural overlook that will make you feel like you’re on top of the world. Check it out:

The hike is a half-mile stroll along an unpaved, wild path. You’ll want to budget at least 30 minutes for the walk alone.

Of course, it would be wise to budget even more time to stop and take in the surroundings.
