The cost of admission to some U.S. national parks could see a sharp increase very soon. The National Park Service has just proposed new price hikes for entrance fees at 118 of the nation’s most visited parks. These include popular parks such as Grand Canyon National Park, Yellowstone and Yosemite. The new measures would more than double the admission cost at some parks. At affected parks, the entrance fee for a private vehicle from $25 to $70 during the peak season, while motorcycles would have to pay $50 rather than $15....
