It’s not very often you find suspension bridges in Oklahoma, so it’s fun when you discover a new one. This one is tucked away in the middle of the foliage in the nature park and it makes for the perfect stroll.

The trail system in the park extends over 3 miles and offers easy and strenuous sections.

On-site you’ll find a small Nature Center with hands-on displays, live animals, a classroom, and a peaceful deck overlooking the park.

And you never know what special visitors you’ll see lurking around. Keep an eye out for lizards, tarantulas, tree frogs, gold fish, and a live turtle.

Even in the winter when the trees are bare, the park is still lovely. There are plenty of park benches along the paths to sit and enjoy the scenery or watch the birds and wildlife.

Ray Harral Nature Park is run by the city of Broken Arrow and features several special events throughout the year.

The park is open year-round from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and the Nature Center is open November - February from 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. and from March - October from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
