Visit any of our small towns that love to go all-out for the winter season, like the town of Truckee, which becomes something of an amazing winter wonderland when it gets cold out. Visit the mountains, or some of our amazing mountain towns. Attend an annual winter festival (or three), and take the kids out for some amazing sledding and tubing opportunities. Check out Tube Town, which is at the Soda Springs Resort – it’s one of the best tubing spots in Northern California for the little ones.
