Shad’s Catfish Hole is a hidden dining gem tucked away in Sallisaw that serves some of the best fried catfish and hushpuppies in the midwest. The tin building has no windows and the ambiance is lacking a bit, but the food is off-the-charts delicious. The locals have been keeping this place a secret for years, but I think it’s time we spread the good news.

As you’ll see on the menu board, they also serve frog legs and crab legs. They are open for business Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
