The Mayo Hotel is a historic hotel in downtown Tulsa that has housed some of Oklahoma’s most distinguished guests since opening in 1925. It closed for several years but reopened in 2009 after a $42 million renovation. It’s 19 stories tall and houses 102 guest rooms, an event center, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar.

The Penthouse Rooftop Bar is open to the public Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The rooftop bar only serves drinks, so if you want food service you’ll need to visit the restaurant in the hotel. They serve boutique wines, local beers, and signature cocktails from some of the finest mixologists in the city.

Back outside, the rooftop area is two stories tall with chairs and tables placed all around. You can even get a glimpse of the iconic Mayo sign that can be seen from all around the city.

On select nights they have a DJ and live music. The rooftop can also be rented out for private events, so be sure and call before visiting to make sure they are open to the public.
