Rhode Island does not have the elevation that other states do, so natural waterfalls are few and far between. However, you can head to West Greenwich for a hike at Arcadia Wildlife Management Area and try to find the low waterfall that resides there. The 14,000 acres of Arcadia Wildlife Management Area provide plenty of outdoor recreation including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, hunting, and more. If you enjoy chasing waterfalls, there’s a trail within this preserve that leads to one.

The Ben Utter Trail is a moderate 2.7-mile out-and-back trail. The terrain can be a bit rocky and muddy in some areas, so be sure to wear a good pair of hiking shoes or boots.
