Other than the resorts, though, there’s still plenty; hit up any number of awesome ice skating rinks all over the state, like the ones at The Cosmopolitan and the Las Vegas Ice Center. Head up to the mountains and go cold-weather hiking or camping, or visit any of Nevada’s amazing state parks for plentiful hiking trails and camping spots. Dispersed camping in Nevada is especially nice during winter because there are far fewer tourists at this time of year, ensuring that you’re in for a nice, quiet getaway in fairly mild temperatures (though nighttime temperatures do get chilly at times, so make sure to bring a good blanket).
