Every year, Missourians go crazy for the snow tubing at Snow Creek — it just makes the winter so (or snow) much more enjoyable. Because while the shoveling and hazardous roads are no fun, there’s just so much to do outdoors during the winter in Missouri! Sled riding down backyard and neighborhood park hills, gliding around outdoor ice rinks, starting snowball fights, and, zipping down a massive hill on a snow tube, for example. What could be better? Snow Creek, that’s what. Plan your winter adventure on this epic snow tubing course in Missouri.

Every year, Snow Creek, an amazing winter resort in Weston, Missouri, gears up for its winter season, which kicks off in mid-December.

No matter when you plan to visit, it’s going to be fun. Snow Creek is generally open Thursday through Sunday with special hours during the holidays. We recommend going both before and after the holidays!

Recently, this epic park took its winter rec to the next level, with the addition of an amazing snow tube ride. Bundle up for the snow tube ride, which will zip you down a 700-foot hill.

Then, when you reach the bottom, grab your tube and head back up to the top of the hill on the conveyor carpet. (Snow Creek offers two-hour and four-hour tickets.)

Bring the kids along, too. (The slide is not recommended for children two and younger.) Only one person is allowed in a tube, but you can hold on to your child’s hand from your tube.

Of course, all that outdoor play can cause a bit of hunger and fatigue. Take a break in the Creekside Pizzeria, where you can grab a quick snack or meal before heading back outdoors.

In fact, you can enjoy your food at picnic tables, where you can watch others gliding down the hill. You’ll be having so much fun, you won’t even notice the cold!

The adventures at Snow Creek don’t stop with snow tubing, either. Snow Creek also offers skiing and snowboarding. Purchase your tickets for snow tubing and other activities at the main lodge.

Snow tubing in Missouri February 03, 2022 Sarah M. Where else can I go snow tubing in Missouri? In addition to the snow tubing at Snow Creek, we’re absolutely obsessed with the winter offerings at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Wildwood. Hidden Valley is one of the largest ski resorts in Missouri, and it is conveniently located just 30 minutes from St. Louis. The sky’s the limit when it comes to winter fun, too: head over to Polar Plunge Tubing Park when you’re ready for an adrenaline rush on their amazing snow tubing hills. Some folks like it so much, they purchase a season pass which includes one-three hour tubing session each operating day – talk about commitment! And in terms of superlatives, Hidden Valley Ski Resort also boasts the longest snow tubing run in Missouri with its 1,000-foot, 16-lane run. What a fun place to visit! What are some other winter activities in Missouri? We absolutely adore winter hiking in Missouri. We bundle up, layer on our socks, grab some hand warmers, and hit the trails! You’ll find some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Show-Me State during the coldest months of the year; the Mina Sauk Falls Trail, for example, carries the possibility of seeing a frozen waterfall! This trail in Taum Mountain State Park comes in at just under three miles, making it the perfect length for a winter hike. However, be prepared for a challenging hike, especially during the winter when there’s snow and ice. Wear sturdy boots and bundle up for the hike that promises sensational views of a potentially frozen Mina Sauk Falls. It will take your breath away!
