Speck’s Bar and Grill was established in 1957 by Franklin Speck Benge. He decided to leave the concrete business and work at a tavern. He soon fell in love with his new employment as it gave him more time for fishing. Over the years, his tavern became a hangout for fishermen and other outdoorsmen.
