If you’re looking for a great hike that’s gorgeous to do all year long, then you need to head straight to the Butte Trail in Alaska. This easy going hike gives great rewards when you get above the tree line. With stunning views of Pioneer Peak and the valley below, it’s a hike that you’ll want to complete every season of the year.

The hike is located in Palmer, in the Matanuska Susitna Valley.
Fabiana Kirtley / AllTrails It’s a beautiful hike that starts at the parking lot on the west side. There’s usually plenty of parking available unless it’s a beautiful, sunny Saturday in the summer.
The trail is a relatively easy, 1.5-mile, out-and-back trail.

The entire elevation gain is only 874 feet.

The trail can get slick, so pack accordingly.
