The town of Cody, Wyoming, dates back to the Wild West days. Way back in 1895, Buffalo Bill Cody decided to help create a destination city in the heart of Wyoming. Just a few years later, in 1902, the Hotel Irma opened.

Buffalo Bill was proud of his latest establishment, and he named it after his youngest daughter. At the time, Cody was one of the most famous people in the world, and it didn’t take long for travelers to begin to fill up the rooms on their trips and vacations.
