Previously known as the “Notch Train,” the Mounatineer route travels through the Mount Washington Valley and over Crawford Notch.

This 60-mile route travels on the Maine Central Railroad’s Mountain Division line. These historic tracks date all the way back to the 1870s!

The Mountaineer runs from the spring through November on various days depending on the season. From the start of November 2021 through November 20th, rides take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
