It wasn’t renamed Rough Riders Hotel until 1905, but its history goes on long before – and long after – that. Well, for one, it’s the home of the historic Rough Riders Hotel.

In 2010, it was renovated again - but none of these happenings have done anything to tarnish the historic significance of the place.
The hotel is named after The Rough Riders in honor of the volunteer cavalry led by President Theodore Roosevelt and the men who served in it.
