Sometimes, you can find great food tucked away in unexpected places. It’s often easy to get trapped in the old routines, visiting the same eateries over and over. If you find yourself stuck at the same spots, break up the monotony with a visit to one of the many hidden gem restaurants in New York. One of our favorites is tucked away in the Catskills in the little hamlet of Big Indian. It’s far from what you might consider a typical foodie town, but the meals here could compete with just about any in the state. The Peekamoose Restaurant and Tap Room has been delighting New Yorkers since it opened in 2003.
