We often get caught up in our busy lives that we never get to those things that we swear we’ll do. Well, now’s the time to start crossing things off of that list. Here’s another list for you–the definitive bucket list for everyone in Wisconsin. Start making your way down this list and watch your happiness go way up.

  1. Lambeau Field

Phil Roeder/Flickr It’s Lambeau Field, perhaps the most iconic field in ALL of sports. Win or lose, this is the best place to experience a game.

  1. Apostle Islands

TheMichaelMckenzie/Flickr This chain of islands is simply unreal. Visit during the summer so you can kayak or visit during winter to see ice caves.

  1. Devil’s Lake State Park

Yinan Chen/Flickr Wisconsin’s most-visited state park, Devil’s Lake affords some stunning views off of the imposing bluffs.

  1. Wisconsin State Fair

Mike Steele/Flickr Have you ever tasted a cream puff at the Wisconsin State Fair? You have to. Get down there, try the wacky food creations, see the livestock, and go on the rides.

  1. Circus World

Amy Meredith/Flickr I’m not even a huge fan of the circus, but they do an awesome job of showing the history of the circus in America. Fun for kids and adults. Remember, Circus World is open seasonally, (typically) from June through October.

  1. Wisconsin Deer Park

Jason Steffens/Flickr Seeing deer isn’t anything “unique” in Wisconsin. But petting and feeding deer? Not a common occurrence. There are TONS of deer all around you, and it is incredible to be surrounded like you will be at the Wisconsin Deer Park.

  1. Summerfest

Jeramey Jannene/Flickr Did you know that Milwaukee is home to the World’s Largest Music Festival? See some of the best musical acts.

  1. Miller Beer Tour

Christopher Webb/Flickr Let’s face it–this is Wisconsin and you can go on hundreds of beer tours. Miller Beer Tour is free, the tour guides are great, and you get three large glasses of beer (and pretzels).

  1. Wisconsin Dells

ajanettew/Flickr Whether you have little kids dying to go, or you don’t have kids and you’re sorta worried about what you look like in a bathing suit, you have to go to Wisconsin Dells.

  1. Big Manitou Falls

Doug Kerr/Flickr We are fortunate to have tons of waterfalls to enjoy in Wisconsin. Big Manitou Falls, at 165 feet, takes the cake.

  1. Kopp’s Frozen Custard

Kopp’s Frozen Custard/Facebook I know plenty of you are Leon’s fans, but Kopp’s is my favorite frozen custard, so it edges Leon out by this much.

  1. Seroogy’s

Seroogy’s Chocolates/Facebook They’ve been making the best chocolate for over 100 years. Just go already.

  1. Wedl’s Hamburger Stand

Wedl’s Hamburger Stand/Facebook These guys are seasonal, and a little out of the way for many of you, but get out there. You’ll be glad you did.

  1. Go To School

Jim Bauer/Flickr You can’t go back to the college years, but you can go back to school. Head to a Badgers game, complete with tailgating. And “jump around!”

  1. Explore caves

yenna/Flickr Head to Cave of the Mounds and see some awesome cave structures. Headlamps optional.

  1. Visit a cranberry bog

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources/Flickr It might not sound super exciting, but cranberry bogs are a large part of Wisconsin’s industry and they are super cool to explore.

  1. Go to a pow-wow

Richard Hurd/Flickr Wisconsin is very proud of its American Indian history, and sharing in a pow-wow really brings you closer to that. Also, they serve Indian tacos. Never had an Indian taco? You’ve never lived.

  1. Door County

Joshua Mayer/Flickr Stay a few days in Door County. Stroll down the streets and look in the shops, get dressed up to eat at nice restaurants, and be adventurous and take a canoe out on the water. Most importantly, enjoy the sunset.

  1. Taliesin

Artotem/Flickr Check out Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and estate in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Whether you’re an architecture buff or not, this isn’t to be missed.

  1. Wisconsin Capitol Tour

Douglas Whitfield/Flickr Be political and explore the state’s capitol. Tours are great, and you will really understand how our government all works. Or works in theory.
