Harmony, Minnesota, is a tiny town in the southeastern corner of the state. Not far from the Iowa border, it’s about 130 miles outside of Minneapolis. The town’s population is less than 1,000 people.

Though Harmony is tiny, it is a popular spot for tourists thanks to its beautiful landscape and proximity to one of Minnesota’s largest Amish communities. There are even Amish tours you can take (read more about that here.

Thanks to the local Amish community, there are many interesting Amish attractions. One of the most popular is the Village School. As soon as you arrive at this charming building, you’ll know you’ve found something special.

The Village School happens to sell the largest selection of Amish-made quilts in the Midwest! You can find beautiful, hand-crafted quilts for your bedroom and beyond. They’re fantastic heirloom pieces, and they also make great gifts.
