However, Westview Cemetery is perhaps one of the most celebrated, largely due in part to its size and history. Tucked away within the capital city, this is the largest cemetery in the entire Southeastern United States and features plenty of history, plus some mystery thrown in the mix, too.
Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia is massive. We’re talking 600-acres of space, plus over 108,000 people buried there stretching back to the late 1800s.

The Mausoleum is open to the public, with thousands of tombs, years of history, and is even considered to be the largest structure of its kind ever built under one roof, according to the Westview website.
